3 Days Uganda Easter Holiday in Lake Mburo: We welcome you to the 3 days Uganda Easter holiday in Lake Mburo National Park, one of the smallest savannah National parks in Uganda. During this safari, you will engage in activities like a game drive, boat cruise, nature walk, and cultural tours. You will visit a herdsman’s local farm in Kiruhura district and see the long-horned cows. These cows hold a significant value to the history of Banyankole – the locals around Lake Mburo National Park. Additionally, you will witness multiple bird and wildlife species that call Lake Mburo National Park home. Some of the animals to expect on this safari include; leopards, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, and many others.

Detailed Itinerary  

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Upon arrival at the Entebbe Internal Airport, you will meet our driver guide. He or she will brief you about the 3 days Uganda Easter holiday in Lake Mburo. Starts with a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. During this transfer, you will make a stopover at the equator in Mpigi for photography. Later on, you will continue with the transfer to the park.  Upon arrival at the park, you will start with lunch and then rest as you prepare for an evening nature walk around the park. During the evening nature walk, you will encounter several wildlife like buffaloes, zebras, impalas, and many others.

Day 2: Full-day Adventure in Lake Mburo National Park

Day 2 of the 3 days Uganda Easter holiday in Lake Mburo will start with a breakfast. Go ahead with a game drive during which you will see many savannah species like leopards, hippos, buffaloes, impalas, and many others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for relaxation as you prepare for a boat cruise. Once you are done with lunch, you will visit Lake Mburo for a boat cruise. The boat cruise will offer you the opportunity to encounter several wildlife like crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, monitor lizards, and many others.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe – Departure

On the last day of the safari, you will start with a visit to the Ankole community that is within the park where you will encounter the Ankole long-horned cattle where you will engage in activities like milking, grazing, cultural dances, and many others. Later on, you will return to the lodge for the refreshment and then continue with the transfer to Entebbe either at the hotel of your choice or the airport for your outbound flights.
