Little Elephant Camp

This camp is situated on the boundary of the Queen Elizabeth National Park with stunning views of the Mountain Rwenzori. Little Elephant Camp also offers spectacular views of the savannah grasslands of the park where the siting some wildlife like buffaloes, Kobs, warthogs, and many others. The camp sits on private land with the park which is about 31 acres of land.

Shoebill Campsite

The camp is situated at the edge of the Victoria Nile within the Murchison Falls National Park. It originates the name from the shoebill that resides near the river. The Shoe Bill campsite is situated in the southern part of the park. The facilities have a campfire site, seating area, river views, and many others.

Red Chill Rest Camp

Also located within the Murchison Falls National Park with Paara a few kilometers away from Murchison Bridge. The camp is near the tracks for the game drive within the park. Sometimes travelers within these camps are not required to go for the game drive since some wildlife like lions, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs, and many others are usually seen. Red Chill Rest Camp has several accommodation options that include basic twin safari tents, twin bandas, camping sites, and many others. 

Ruhija Gorilla Friends Camp

Ruhija gorilla friends camp is located within the Ruhija sector of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This facility is a local initiative project that was started by community members of the Itojo parish in the Kabale district in southwestern Uganda. Its operations started in 2008 to develop local community incomes through sustainable tourism practices by providing affordable rates to travelers on their gorilla trekking safaris.

Buhoma Rest Community Camp

Buhoma rest community camp is also situated within the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the Buhoma sector. It is close to the forests of the park. In this community, there is usually entertainment from the local community around the park.

Bwindi Safari Lodge

This is a budget facility also situated in the Buhoma sector of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is home to mountain gorillas. Bwindi Lodge is made up of the beautiful nature around, amenities, skilled staff, and many others.

Nshongi Camp

Nshongi camp is situated 8 kilometers away from the center of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is near the park headquarters which is the starting point for gorilla trekking. The camp is made up of 4 bands that offer double beds, private bathrooms, and panoramic views of the forested mountains.

Kitojo Guest Cottages

Kitojo guest cottages are situated on the Kitojo hill with stunning views of the mountain Rwenzori. It is about 30 minutes away from the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters which is a starting point for tracking chimpanzees. The facility is made up of 6 spacious cottages with several amenities.

Rwenzori View Guest House

Rwenzori View Guest House is one of the popular pocket-friendly accommodation facilities that is situated in Fort Portal City near the Kibale Forest National Park. It was opened up in 1997 and it has hosted several travelers on their safaris to Uganda. It is among the oldest facilities that are situated in Boma and a few kilometers from the Kibale National Park.

The Eagle’s Nest

It is situated outside the park and located on the raised platform with stunning views of the savannah parks. Eagle’s Nest is made up of ten African safari tents and each tent is designed according to the needs and interests of travelers. Each tent in this facility has a veranda overlooking the park and it is part of the nature lodges.

Leopard Rest Camp

The leopard rest camp is situated 1 kilometer away from the Nshara gate near the Lake Mburo National Park. This pocket-friendly facility has one of the stunning views of the park. Uganda Wildlife Authority Bandas

The facilities are situated in most of Uganda’s national parks where they offer pocket-friendly accommodations for travelers on their safaris. These bandas are operated and owned by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. Near these bandas, there are spaces for travelers interested in camping.

Ruboni Community Camp

This a community-owned facility situated in the ranges of mountain Rwenzori within the western Uganda. It was started back in 2005 and it has expanded through the many stages of development. The facility is within the Nyakalengija Central Circuit gate of the mountain Rwenzori. In this community, travelers usually encounter the members of the local community.
