Nature walks for children cost about 5 dollars for foreign nonresidents, 5 dollars for foreign residents, and 10000 Ugandan shillings for East African children. Nature walks for adults cost about 40 dollars for foreign nonresidents, 30 dollars for foreign residents, and 30000 Ugandan shillings for East African residents.
Artworks and painting
Painting and artwork are among the activities that travelers do on their safaris. Travelers usually pay the entrance fee to engage in the activity and the fee includes 10 dollars for foreign nonresidents, 10 dollars for foreign residents, and 20000 Ugandan shillings for East African citizens. While on the safari to the Kibale National Park, travelers are supposed to pay for the entry fee for the vans or vehicles they will have come with during the safari.

Travelers during their safari there are activities which they do not pay for the park entrance fees and they include;
Chimpanzee trekking
Chimpanzee trekking is one of the key activities in the park since it is home to several chimpanzees that are situated around the park. Tracking of these primates starts with the briefing at the park headquarters where travelers are highlighted the dos and don’ts about the chimpanzee trekking. After the tracking, travelers go ahead with the activity taking about 2 to 7 hours of the day in the search of the chimpanzee in the forested areas of the park.
Travelers to see the chimpanzee in the Kibale National Park are supposed to have booked a chimpanzee trekking permit. The chimpanzee trekking permit in Kibale costs about 250 USD for foreign nonresidents, 200 USD for foreign residents, and 180000 Ugandan shillings for East African residents. This permit consists of the guide fees, park entrance fees, and also a nature walk on the day of tracking.
Chimpanzee habituation
While spending a full day with the chimpanzee in the Kibale National Park, travelers are supposed to engage in the chimpanzee habituation activity. This activity is usually carried out by the conservationists in the park to train the chimpanzee to get used to the human presence. The training of the chimpanzee to get used to the human presence takes about 2 years. Travelers engaging in this activity in the Kibale National Park spend a full day with the chimpanzee.

Note the following if you plan to pay annual park entrance fees in Kibale National Park
- Annual park fees to Kibale National Park apply to foreign citizens staying in Uganda and East African residents
- Vehicle entry fees are not included in the annual park entrance fee
- Annual park entrance fees are exclusive to some activities like chimpanzee trekking, and chimpanzee habituation.
- Foreign residents to qualify for the annual park entrance package, are supposed to have valid working permits or visas indicating that they are foreign residents in Uganda.
How to pay annual park entry fees for Kibale National Park
