Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival on day 1 of the 3 days of gorilla encounters and Bunyonyi safari, you will meet our driver guide at the airport. Meet and greet and be briefed about this safari. You go ahead with a transfer from the Entebbe International Airport to southwestern Uganda (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park). Make a stop at the Uganda Equator, grab some coffee, and do some experiments about the rotation of the earth. Proceed with the drive through endless rolling hills and savannah plains of southwestern Uganda. You will be transferred to a lodge for dinner and overnight on arrival in the park.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
The day 2 will start with an early breakfast. The driver will lead you to the starting point. You will be joined by other trekkers and be briefed about gorilla trekking. As you are briefed women dance to traditional songs and other forms of entertainment cover the briefing room. Additionally, will be highlighted on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. It is now time to enter the forests and search for these endangered species (mountain gorillas). The activity involves walking through designated trails under the leadership of an experienced armed ranger. It will not be long before you meet a particular gorilla family.
Generally, a gorilla trekking activity takes between 2 and 8 hours of the day. This time involves the one hour spent in the presence of the gorillas. Take photos and have a story to tell afterward. You will have gone with a packed lunch which you will sit at any point and enjoy. Later on, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive just in time for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 3: Boat Ride and Transfer to Kigali
On the last day of the safari, you will engage in a morning boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi. During the boat cruise, you will learn about the history of the many islands on Lake Bunyonyi. Have amazing conversations with the locals. You will break for lunch and bid farewell to Uganda. You will go ahead with a transfer to Kigali. The reason we don’t take you back to Kampala is simply because Kigali is closer than Kampala. We don’t have any problem driving you back to Kampala if you wish. On arrival in Kigali, you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight. This will be the end of your 3 Days gorilla Encounter and Bunyonyi safari.
