Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On arrival in Uganda at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by our company guide. He or she will brief you about the 5 days Uganda Christmas holiday. You will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. The transfer will take about 8 to 9 hours of the day. On arrival in the park, you will check in to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community tour
Start your day with a morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking. During the briefing session, you will be highlighted the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. You will go ahead with the activity which will take about 2 to 7 hours of the day. Upon meeting the tracked gorilla family, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Later on, you will continue with a community visit to the Batwa villages. In this community, you will learn about the lifestyle of the Batwa through activities like cultural dances, storytelling, coffee roasting, and many others.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and en-route game drive in the Ishasha Sector
On this day, you will go ahead with the transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park in Western Uganda. The transfer to reach the park will take about 3 hours. On arrival in the southern part of the park, you will start over with the search for the tree-climbing lions that are so dominant in this sector. Other wildlife will be seen during the search for the tree-climbing lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, kobs, and many others. You will continue with the transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
While in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will start over with the transfer to the Kyambura Gorge for the tracking of the chimpanzee after your early morning breakfast. On arrival, you will start over with the briefing about the tracking of the chimpanzee where you will highlight the dos and don’ts about the activity. Then you will go ahead with the activity which will take about 2 to 4 hours of the day. In the activity, you will have 1 hour to view the chimpanzee. Later on, you will go ahead with the boat cruise which will take about 2 hours. On the boat cruise, you will see several wildlife like hippos, elephants, buffaloes, monitor lizards, and many others.

Day 5: Game drive and transfer to Kampala
On the last day of the safari, you will start over with the morning breakfast and then go ahead with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector the northern part of the park. In the game drive, you will see several wildlife like lions, leopards, elephants, warthogs, hippos, and many others. Then you will continue with the transfer to Kampala which will take about 5 to 6 hours of the day. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will either be transferred to the hotel of your choice or the airport for your outbound flights.
