Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick and transfer to the Masai Mara National Reserve
On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will meet our company representative. You will start with a transfer to the Masai Mara National Reserve in southwestern Kenya. The transfer will take about 5 to 6 hours of the day. Upon arrival in the park, you will be transferred to the lodge for lunch and left to relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Full-day adventure in the Masai Mara National Reserve
The full-day adventure in the Masai Mara National Reserve involves a game drive where you will get a chance to see different wildlife. Some of the animals to be seen include; lions, leopards, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, and many others. Most of the time will be done in the Sekenani sector. This is one of the busiest sectors of the reserve with vast wildlife species. You will have a picnic lunch near the Mara River and experience the river crossing.

Day 3: Hot air balloon and Masai village tour
On day 3 of the 5 days Masai Balloon safari, you will engage in the morning hot air balloon safari which will take about 1 hour of the day. Here, you will encounter several wildlife in the reserve. Later on, you will engage in the picnic breakfast with the reserve at the viewpoint of the park. Later on, you will go ahead with the transfer to the Masai community that is within the park. Enjoy some time with the Masai warriors. While in the community, you will engage in several activities like cultural dances, storytelling, cattle grazing, and many others.

Day 4: Full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve
On the second last day, you will transfer to the Mara Triangle which is among the remote areas of the reserve that is between the Oloololo escarpment and the Mara River. While in this Sector, you will encounter several wildlife like lions, cheetahs, rhinos, zebras, and many others. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Nairobi – Departure
On the last day of the safari, you will start over with the morning breakfast and then go ahead with the transfer to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, you will either be transferred to the hotel of your choice or the airport for your outbound flights. This will be the end of your 5 days Masai balloon safari.
