4 Days Uganda Golden Monkeys Safari: The 4 days Uganda Golden Monkey Safari will offer you a close encounter with the wildlife in these small primates that live in the forested areas of the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in southwestern Uganda. On this safari, you will encounter also the mountain gorillas that live with the golden monkeys in the park.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will go ahead with the transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in southwestern Uganda. During the transfer, you will make a stopover at the equator for the photography. Later on, you will continue to the park. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking
You will start your morning with breakfast and then proceed to the park headquarters for the briefing about the golden monkey trekking. In this briefing, you will learn the dos and don’ts of golden monkey trekking. Later you will continue with the activity which will take about 2 to 6 hours. Upon meeting the monkeys, you will be allowed to spend an hour in their presence. Retreat to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Community Tour
The second last day of the safari will start with breakfast and proceed back to the park headquarters for the gorilla trekking. You will go ahead with the activity, which takes about 2 to 7 hours of the day. Gorilla trekking involves walking through the trails and hiking from one hill to the other. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour in their presence. Have lunch and relax. You will also engage in the community visit of the Batwa.

Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe – Departure
The last day will start with breakfast and then proceed to the transfer to Entebbe. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred either to the airport or hotel of your choice. This will mark the end of your 4 days Uganda Golden Monkey Safari.
