Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you will meet our professional driver guide. He or she will brief you about the safari. You will embark on a drive to Volcanoes National Park. An optional Kigali city tour is imminent. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking and Gorilla Guardian’s Village Tour in Volcanoes National Park
Wake up to a delicious breakfast and meet other trekkers at the briefing center. Here you will learn about the dos and don’ts of golden monkey trekking. While Volcanoes National Park is famous for gorilla trekking, you will get an opportunity to interact with yet another species of primates – golden monkeys. The activity involves walking through shrubs, and slippery trails, and bypassing undergrowth. The activity will take about 2 to 5 hours of the day. Upon meeting the golden monkeys, you will enjoy a thrilling one hour in their presence.
Later on, you will go ahead with a transfer to the Gorilla Guardians Village. Here, you dive into the culture of Rwandese. Buy items from the craft shops therein. More so, in this village, you will engage in activities like cultural dances, preparation of the local cuisine, banana brewing, and many others.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and Afternoon Boat Cruise
