Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
On arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet the company guide. Meet and greet as you get briefed about the 13 days best of Tanzania safari. You will then drive from the airport to Arusha town. We hope you are tired and need some time to relax and refresh. Check in to your hotel for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
On day 2 of the 13 days best of Tanzania safari, you will start with breakfast. Proceed with a transfer to Tarangire National Park in the Karatu region. The transfer to the park will take 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival at the park, you will have lunch. Later on, take a walk around the neighboring villages and tour Karatu Town. During the community tour, you will participate in activities like bead making, fashion wear, and many others. In the evening, you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full day in Tarangire National Park
Today’s adventure in Tarangire National Park will start with an early game drive. Here, you will meet some of the wildlife species roaming the park. The wildlife encountered around the park includes lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, zebras, and many others. Then you will continue with a picnic breakfast. Later on, you will continue with the game drive in Tarangire National Park for a full day. In the evening, you will have a sundowner near a water source or hippo pool. Retreat to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After your relaxed night, you will start the day with breakfast. Go ahead with a transfer to Serengeti National Park. The transfer will take about 3 to 5 hours. You will witness a change in the vegetation cover of the area. Enjoy views of the endless savannah plains. You will be transferred to a lodge for relaxation as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 5: Full day in Serengeti National Park
Nothing excites like a full-day adventure in the Serengeti National Park! The day will start with an early Hot Air Balloon experience. This will take about 1 hour with a bush breakfast. Here, you will encounter wildlife while in the air and also have a perfect view of the park. Later on, you will proceed with a game drive to explore deeper parts of the world. Witness the popular wildebeest migration in Tanzania. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for relaxation as you prepare for the evening game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge as well.

Day 6: Explore the northern sector of Serengeti National Park
You will start the day with a transfer to the northern sector of Serengeti National Park. This is one of the rich sectors of Serengeti. It is a popular spot for witnessing the great wildebeest migration. More so, the region is the best hunting area for predators. Do not be surprised if you meet a pride of lions hunting down a buffalo. More so, in this sector, you will encounter wildlife like wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, and many others. After a full-day adventure, check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Day 7 of the 13 days best of Tanzania safari will start with breakfast. Then, proceed with a transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is named after the Ngorongoro Crater. This is more like a game drive itself, you will be seeing many animals along the way. Arrive on time. Check in to your lodge for dinner and spend the night over.

Day 8: Full day in Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The full day in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area will start with an early breakfast. This will be followed by a game drive to encounter wildlife. The game drive will take you to the crater rim where you will realize that indeed this is the world’s largest volcanic crater. Later on, you will also visit the Hadzabe community near Lake Eyasi who are believed to be bushmen. Explore the Oduvai Gorge Museum and witness the remains of early man.

Day 9: Fly to Zanzibar

You will start with breakfast before you visit Spice Town and the local markets. Explore the beach as far as you can. Swim and do many activities here.
