You will not stop in Rwanda, you have an opportunity to trek Ugandan Gorillas too in Bwindi the dark forest.

Day 1: From Kigali transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
At the airport you will meet our company representative who will welcome you and then drive you off to Volcanoes National Park the home of the endangered mountain Gorillas. Note that it’s about 116 km’s drive from Kigali city Centre with cool navigation of the beautiful hilly country side. The hills are the reasons the country is called “the land of a thousand hills”. You will arrive in the Ruhengeri town and then check in to your pre booked lodge for the dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury), La Palme Hotel (Mid-range), Kinigi Guest House (Budget).
Day 2: Rwanda Gorilla trekking and then cross to Uganda.
Have your early morning breakfast and then make your way to Kinigi and assemble for the gorillas briefing at the park offices by at least 7 am. You will later set off to the well set trails into the volcanic forest involving hiking within the terrain with views of several birds plus flora and fauna. It may take you between 2 and 6 hours to reach the gorillas, once you reach them, you will spend only one hour with them and then trek back to return to the starting point. This is where you will meet with your driver and have a picnic lunch and then cross to enter in Uganda. In the evening you will check in to your lodge for dinner.
Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Safari Lodge (Luxury), Gorilla Resort Bwindi (Mid-range), Travelers Rest Hotel Kisoro.
Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla trekking and then transfer back to Kigali.
Have a very early and quick breakfast with packed lunch and then drive to the park headquarters for the briefing about the gorillas. You then set off with your guide into the dark forest of Bwindi which is thick and a bit challenging due to steep slopes and valleys. You wil be rewarded to view other forest residents like the monkeys, butterflies and several birds. This trek ranges between 2 to 8 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. Remember in the ape’s presence you spend only one hour watching and taking their photos then you trek back to proceed back to Kigali.
