Overview

This 2 days Rwandan safari is more favorable for only those tourists that are short of time, the trip takes you into Volcanoes National Park where you have to expect Mountain Gorilla trekking activity the dubbed lifetime experience. These two days will save your time, enjoy the rare apes and fly out through Kigali Airport to your next destination. 


Schedule

Day 1: Arrival to Kigali Airport and transfer to Musanze district.
Upon your arrival, you will meet and greet our safari driver who will take you through the tour itinerary, have a short Kigali city tour if time allows. Visit to the genocide memorial center, the museum, African shops for souvenirs and then transfer to Musanze District where the Volcanoes National Park is found. Expect numerous views of the hilly country side which is portrayed out in the slogan “Rwanda is a land of a Thousand Hills”. You will arrive in Ruhengeri town and check in to a pre booked lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge, La Bambou Gorilla Lodge.
 
Day 2:  Gorilla Trekking adventure and transfer back to Kigali Airport.
Wake up to some good heavy breakfast and then drive to the Park Headquarters in Kinigi where the Gorilla guides will brief you about the rare apes and then get allocated to the gorilla group you will trek, after a coffee and traditional dance entertainment you will stroll to the starting point of the trekking trails and start your search of the mountain Gorillas in the Volcanoes. It will take you 1 to 6 hours due to the movements of the Gorillas, while in their presence, you are only allowed to stay for 1 hour as you take photos and learn more about them. Later return to the lodge, have your lunch and then drive heading back to Kigali for your outbound flight.
