Overview
Take part in these two destinations (Uganda and Kenya) where you will visit two conservation area that is Bwindi national Park and Masai Mara National reserve respectively. Encounter different wildlife and cultures.
The wildlife will be the big five, big cats, big primates like the gorillas, unique bird species among others. Animals that will be spotted while on the game drive will be the elephants, wildebeests, okapis, Topis, Oribis, warthogs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards, hyenas among others. Therefore, you will enjoy both the savannahs and the misty forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Detailed itinerary
Be welcomed by the tour driver guide from our company who will be well dressed and smart in the company uniform. He will take you through the briefing about the tour and then you will be conversant with what the tour plan.
During this day, there is an option of visiting some of the city best attractions in either Entebbe or Kampala such as the Uganda reptile village, Uganda Wildlife education Centre and the Uganda museum, local religious sites among others. You will head to the hotel in Kampala l and this will be the end of the day.
Have a great time as you take a log day road trip experience to Bwindi national park in the a fully built tourist vehicle where you will encounter different scenery or landscape, have great time as you make different non-stops like the Uganda equator in Kayabwe, Mbarara for lunch and another on different viewpoints in Kigezi highlands. You will surely have a great time while on this journey to the mighty Bwindi national Park.
Have breakfast and then drive to the headquarters where you will receive the briefing. This is the first activity to take before trekking because it helps you to understand the dos and don'ts while trekking, the overall information about the forest and all that is found in the forest. Bwindi national Park has over 18 habituated gorilla families but you will be dedicated to trek only one that you will have booked.
Gorilla trekking can take between 3 to 5 hours while in the jungle but only one hour will be dedicated to you while in the presence of these gorillas. Learn and discover the beauty of these primates and after you will head back to the lodge and this will be the end of the day.
Head back to Kampala since you will be done with a great experience of gorilla trekking the previous day. The road trip will take the almost the whole day between 9 to 10 hours and you will have an enroute lunch at the point where the Equator crosses Uganda. Then proceed and find your way to the hotel and this will be the end of the day.
Day 5: Fly to Nairobi and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve.
Head to Entebbe International Airport after your breakfast and then be ready to fly to Nairobi Kenya. You will find yourself at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will meet the driver guide, be briefed about the remaining day's and this country at large. He will straight away take you to Masai Mara national reserve where you will spend the remaining days.
Encounter different wildlife during the morning and afternoon game drives that each will last for 2 to 3 hours. During the search, you will meet wildlife such as the lion, leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, crocodiles, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, buffalos, warthogs and spotted hyenas. There are scenarios that will create everlasting memories like the sundowners, sunsets, wildebeest migration among others.
The game drives will take you to discover the unique Masai culture who live within the premises of the reserve. These are cattle keepers and you will enjoy the best of their traditional dances and music, meal preparation and tasting, community tour among others. Return to lodge in the evening and this will be the end of the day.
Have a short game drive around the reserve premises after your breakfast and then transfer to Nairobi at the airport where you board a flight back home which will be the end of the tour.
