Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Day 2: Golden monkey trekking and Garama cave tours
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Our driver guide will pick you up and brief you about your 5 days Uganda golden monkeys and chimpanzee safari upon arrival. After that short highlight, he will then transfer you to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and lunch will be en route. In the evening you will arrive and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After your breakfast, you will head out for a briefing about the expected code of conduct while trekking golden monkeys. A ranger guide will then lead you to the bamboo forests in Mgahinga on a search for the golden monkeys. After their allocation, you will be given an hour with them in their natural habitat. You will head back to your lodge for lunch afterward. In the afternoon, you will be guided on a tour of the Garama caves. These caves in the park once hosted the Batwa pygmies. You will learn the history of the caves and the stories that transpired there. In the evening you will go back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

In the morning after your breakfast, you will hit the road to Kibale National Park. You will have impressive views of the tea plantations while on your way to the park. This journey takes about 6 hours so you will arrive at the lodge just in time for your lunch.

Early morning after your delicious breakfast, you will be dropped off at the park offices for a briefing on the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking. Afterward, a ranger guide will guide you through the forests of Kibale National Park to the natural habitats of the chimpanzees. You will then spend an hour in the presence of the chimpanzees watching them as they go by with their daily chores.
In the afternoon after you have had lunch, you will take on a guided community tour to the local communities around the park. You will learn some of their cultures through interactions and visit their markets. That fun adventure will conclude the day and you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will have a delicious early-morning breakfast and after our drive will pick you up. You will check out of the lodge and be transferred back to Kampala for your departure back home. Lunch will be served en route.
